British Isles Schools Swimming Championships

On Saturday 18 March, Stefan brought great honour to himself and the school by winning the 100m breast-stroke at the British Isles Schools Swimming Championships.

Representing Irish Schools, Stefan swam a personal best time of 1 minute 11 seconds to comfortably win (the second place swimming time was 1 min 12.9 secs). The championships were held in Edinburgh and included all the best British swimmers in Stefan's age group.

Stefan is also our Head Boy and has carried out his duties this year with great distinction. Well done, Stefan!

Happy birthday, Mr Tipping!

This surprise was waiting for the head of the history department as he entered the staff room at break-time today. Happy 50th birthday, Mr Tipping!
